Settling into a good book is my biggest tip for friends enduring stress. It is rare to see people who are feeling stressed reading for pleasure in Western society and perhaps part of the reason is that reading takes focus and an environment free of distractions. Taking the time to focus on just one thing allows you to unwind over other issues that may be simmering away in your head so a book is an easy choice - because there is something for everybody out there!
