Now that my children are getting older, blood seems to be a more common by product of their daily rough-housing.

To remove a blood stain simply rinse thoroughly with cold water rubbing the fabric against itself to remove the worst of the stain. If there is a small ring remaining on the outside of the stain after this then sprinkle a little bi-carbonate of soda on the area and rub again to remove the stain and rinse residue off with cold water.

If the fabric is not colour-fast please test the use of bi-carb soda in an inconspicuous area first!
